Mario's story
Mario Castaneda comes from a family rooted in the trades. Epoxy was part of his life early: his grandfather showed him how much the right materials can do when they're paired with real craftsmanship.
Before starting Exclusive Resins, Mario built a career in business growth, sales and operations. He brought that experience back to the work he grew up around and founded Exclusive Resins in 2021 with a simple idea: run a coatings company with the craftsmanship of a small family shop and the systems of a well-run business.
In practice that means quick replies, clear written quotes, crews that show up when they say they will, and a slab that's properly ground and repaired before any color goes down. It's what customers mention most in their reviews.
No gimmicks, just a floor done right
You won't hear a "lifetime warranty" pitch from us. Those promises tend to come with long lists of exclusions. Instead you get honest advice about your slab, a written warranty, and a straightforward commitment: if something fails because of our installation, we come back and make it right.
Sometimes the honest answer is that a slab isn't a good candidate for the floor you want, or that a different system will serve you better. We'd rather tell you that at the estimate than find out together two years later.
Supply, training and install under one roof
Our Tracy address at 392 W Larch Rd, Suite 11 does three jobs. It's the shop our install crews work out of. It's home to Exclusive Resin Supply, our sister company, which stocks field-tested Simiron and JP Resin systems, house-blended flake, metallic pigments and diamond tooling for pros and DIYers. And it's home to The Resin Lab, where installers come for hands-on metallic and flake training.
That matters for your floor. We install with the same products we stock and teach, so we know exactly how they behave, from pot life on a hot afternoon to how a metallic moves under a roller.
Giving back
Not every floor is a paying job. Our team donated the install for a barber school's floors, working alongside friends from across the epoxy industry. You can see that floor in the gallery.
